Our region offers fantastic opportunities for camping and caravanning. However, free camping is not permitted anywhere in the shire. This includes beaches, car parks, national parks, reserves and on streets in residential areas. Camping is only allowed in designated holiday parks and campgrounds. Fines may apply for camping outside approved areas.
