Local Houses Featured in Sustainable Event

Sustainable Houses in Our Shire

Environmentally focused homes in our shire are being featured as part of Sustainable House Day this weekend.

The event provides the opportunity to explore some of Australia’s most unique and inspiring homes.

The sustainable homes included are in Witchcliffe (The Eco Barnhouse, Hemp “H” House, Paradis Du Chanvre, Catherine’s Hempcrete House and Tim & Anne-Marie’s Strawbale House) and Margaret River (Treeside Lane House).

We’re keen to help locals who want to build with a cleaner, greener design and have partnered with Cerclos to offer 20 free Guided Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) worth $300 each to those in the early stages of designing their own home.
