The Shire has two sports and recreation centres: the Augusta Recreation Centre and the Margaret River Recreation Centre.
The Augusta Recreation Centre has a gym, multi-purpose court, and hydrotherapy pool.

The Margaret River Recreation Centre has a 25m pool, gym, group fitness classes, personal training and exercise physiologist. The Centre also has three multi-purpose courts suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, soccer, and badminton.
