Walking Through History: The Mortimer Trail

Join us for another fascinating presentation by Dr Pam Lynch from her Walking Through History Series. This talk focusses on the Welsh Marches. The broad boundary between England and Wales that for hundreds of years was fiercely contested. The Mortimer Trail follows the rise to power of one Marcher family from the Norman period through four hundred turbulent years of and the physical remains from that period that can still be seen today.

This free presentation will be followed by mingle time and light refreshments. The library is an easily accessible venue.
