Drainage Project – Mann Street
Culvert Renewal and upgrade and shoulder widening works are scheduled to commence on Monday 6 February and are anticipated to be completed by the end of February.

Road Closure will be in place for the duration of the works with local access only. Access for all Mann Street residents will be maintained for the duration of the project.

Works involve removal and replacement of old drainage culverts with new upgraded box culverts. This will improve the system’s capacity for future storm events and allow for widening of the shoulder in this location for the construction of a proposed future pedestrian footpath.

Once the culvert works are complete there will be new kerbing and asphalt laid adjacent to finalise the project.

There will be a deep excavation at the closure site to facilitate the culvert works, please adhere to detours and drive safely.

Should you require further information relating to these works, please contact the Shire’s Coordinator Works Phillip Lantzke on 0437 516 338 or via [email protected]

These works are carried out in accordance with section 3.50A of the Local Government Act 1995, Part 3A (functions of Local Governments – partial closure of certain thoroughfares to vehicles).
