Margaret River Recreation Centre Café – 51 Wallcliffe Road

The Shire advertised for expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the fit-out and operation of the Margaret River Recreation Centre Café on 3 April 2023 and 21 June 2023. The Shire received a submission from Freddy Reidy and Holly-Ann Romaior and proposes to enter into a lease over the Margaret River Recreation Centre Café. 

The details are:
  1. Description of Property: Part of 51 Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River – Margaret River Recreation Centre Cafe
  2. Details of Disposition:
a) Names of the parties: Shire of Augusta Margaret River as Lessor and Freddy Reidy and Holly-Ann Romaior as Lessee.
b) Consideration: Base rent to be paid by the Lessee is $25,000 per annum plus GST and outgoings with annual rent reviews.
c) Lease term: 5 years plus further option of 5 years. 
d) Market Value of disposition as determined by an independent valuation dated 30 April 2024: $25,000 per annum excluding GST and outgoings.
e) Otherwise on standard commercial lease terms.
