Green waste
Residents are encouraged to separate garden waste (green waste) from their residential waste.
Up to 2m³ of green waste can be taken to the Davis Road Recycling and Waste Management Facility free of charge. Note, fees apply for green waste over 2m³.
All green waste must be free of contamination. Otherwise, general waste disposal charges will apply.
Bulk residential household waste
If necessary, you can take waste to the Davis Road Recycling and Waste Management Facility. Reasons will include:
- Your property does not have a kerbside collection service
- You have more waste than can fit in your bin
- You need to dispose of large bulky items, such as mattresses, white goods, tyres, and boat or motor vehicle bodies.
