By joining YAC, you can become a voice within the Shire, work with other young people, and have a say in making crucial decisions.
The Shire's Youth Advisory Council (YAC) provides a space for young people aged 12 to 24 to have a say in the issues that impact them most. It also helps coordinate activities and programs for young people following an Asset Based Community Development model.
Past events organised by YAC have included music events, road trips, adventure camps, silent discos, skate comps, music/art festivals, fundraisers, culture nights, movie nights, holiday activities, art workshops, and more.
