About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance team for a Rates and Revenue Officer. We are considering casual, part time or full-time positions. Reporting to the Finance Coordinator, you will be required to assist with the administration of the Shire’s rating and revenue processes, pensioner applications, property transfers, Landgate valuation changes, financial reconciliations and management of the property database.

Position description and selection criteria
Finance Officer Position Description
Whilst previous experience in a Finance or Rates role is highly desirable, a keen willingness to learn, a positive attitude and an innate drive to provide excellence in customer service are essential to the role. A sound understanding of systems is required alongside intermediate level understanding and capabilities of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel & Outlook). Working knowledge of the local area and community is desirable.
