ADOPTION OF CAT AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2023

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River has resolved to make the Cat Amendment Local Law 2023.

The purpose of the Cat Amendment Local Law 2023 is to amend the Cat Local Law 2023 and update its provisions relating to permit conditions so that they are consistent with the Cat Act 2011. The effect is to make the Cat Amendment Local Law 2023 consistent with the current State legislation.

A copy of the local law may be inspected by calling the Shire Office on 9780 5255 between the hours of 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, and is also available online Cat Local Law 2023.

The local law was gazetted 9 February 2024 and will come into operation on 23 February 2024.
