The Shire has engaged consultants, Land Insights to identify potential impacts of climate change on our coastline and the risks and management options to address any identified risks.
Specifically, this involves a review of the Shire’s Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP).
Our coastal areas are highly appreciated for their natural beauty, cultural, recreational and economic values. The CHRMAP will develop appropriate responses to coastal management based on community expectations, technical expertise, resources, environmental impacts and collaboration with coastal managers.

Submissions close 5pm Thursday 4 August.
