Cowaramup Transport Consultation Extended

Thank you to all the passionate community members committed to making our roads safer who’ve shared their feedback on the Cowaramup Integrated Transport Strategy (ITS).

In 2023, in collaboration with Main Roads, the Shire engaged a consultant to undertake a traffic study for Cowaramup. The Cowaramup ITS will inform future improvements required to manage traffic growth, including improvements for pedestrians and cyclists.

In response to community feedback, the Shire has agreed to extend the community consultation period for a further two weeks. Instead of closing on Monday, September 30 we are welcoming submissions until Friday, October 11.

The Shire has already received over 50 community submissions and would like to extend a genuine thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts and time at the Information Session and drop-in sessions last week, as well as through the online form.
