Deregistration of Rosa Brook and Wallcliffe Bush Fire Brigades

In accordance with the powers delegated to the Chief Executive Officer by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River under s48 of the Bush Fires Act (1954), the registration of the following local government registered Bush Fire Brigades has been cancelled, in accordance with s41(3) of the Bush Fires Act (1954):

• Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade
• Wallcliffe Bush Fire Brigade

The cancellation of these registrations has been made to allow for the transfer of these groups to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and gives effect to a previous resolution made by the Shire’s Council.
