Construction of a new nature-based playground will soon commence at the Gracetown Hall.
Work will be commencing on Monday 31 March and are planned to be completed after two weeks on Friday 11 April.
The playground has been designed by the Gracetown Cowaramup Bay Community Group in collaboration with Nature Based Play to reflect the cultural character of Cowaramup and Gracetown.
Playground installation works will not impact services at the Gracetown Hall, Tennis Courts of Basketball Halfcourt.
Funds for the new playground have been partially raised by the Gracetown Cowaramup Bay Community Group and the Australian Government in partnership with the Shire of Augusta Margaret River.
All works being conducted align with the Shire’s Leisure Plan and Public Open Space Strategy.
