If you own a food business, now’s the time to prepare for the new national standards that will come into effect on 8 December.

The standards will be introduced across Australia to reduce the rate of foodborne illnesses linked to food handling in certain food service, retail and catering food businesses. 

You’ll need to comply if your business handles:
-    unpackaged
-    potentially hazardous
-    ready to eat foods.
