New Signs for Our Little Plover

Beach-nesting bird info signs on the beach.

There are some new info signs at Gnarabup Beach with updates on Evie, the Red-capped Plover chick who was born on New Year’s Eve.

She was spotted yesterday but still has a few weeks before she can fly. Stick to the shoreline when you're near the roped fenced area and if you see Evie please give her some space.

Unfortunately, a few dogs were seen close by the chick and in the dog prohibited area. Please keep your dogs in the designated dog exercise area between Georgette Beach access and Riflebutts.
