Proposed Cat Amendment Local Law 2023

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River proposes to make the Shire of Augusta Margaret River Cat Amendment Local Law 2023.

The purpose of this proposed amendment local law is to amend the Shire of Augusta Margaret River Cat Local Law 2023, deleting clause 4.8(1)(a) relating to a permit condition for catteries and premises keeping three or more cats, as requested by the Joint Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation. The effect of this proposed amendment Local Law is to refine the permit conditions, to ensure consistency with the Cat Act 2011.

A copy of the proposed amendment local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire offices at 41 Wallcliffe Road, Margaret River or 66 Allnutt Terrace, Augusta during opening hours. A copy is also available online Draft Cat Amendment Local Law or can be requested by calling 08 9780 5255.
