Your Investment in Our Shire
If you own a property in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, you’ll receive your rate notice in the mail in the next few days. While none of us like to receive bills in the mail, your rates are an investment in making our shire a great place to live.
Rates are the primary way we fund the services our growing community expects and deserves and over the next 12 months, $19 million will allocated to improving our community’s assets, and $800,000 will support local community and environmental groups. (Read more here)
Your notice also includes charges for kerbside waste collection; waste facility maintenance and an emergency service levy (collected on behalf of DFES).
To ease the impact of rising costs, we’ve removed any fees associated with paying your rates in instalments.
