The Shire has engaged a contractor to undertake trail remedial works.
This will include resurfacing and drainage improvement to the Wadandi Track between Carters Road and Lear Road (approximately the first 2kms North of Carters Road).
These works will commence on Monday 23 October and will last for approximately three weeks.
The required works are in difficult areas to access due to the location and nature of the track, which is further constrained by several bridges within the area.
The Shire is working with The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and Margaret River Off Road Cycling Association (MRORCA) to ensure detour routes are identified to help limit any inconvenience caused by the works and to ensure a safe working environment.
There will be heavy earth moving plant on site for the duration of the works.
Please use caution and follow any signage or direction from workers on site.
Should you have further enquiries regarding these works, please contact Phil Lantzke, Coordinator of Works at [email protected] or on 0437 516 338.
