The Shire Welcomes 23 New Australian Citizens!

Welcome to our newest Australian citizens who have decided to make their permanent home in the Shire, on Wadandi Booja.

Twenty-three people have become Australian citizens at three ceremonies presided over by Shire President Julia Meldrum in Cowaramup and Margaret River on the 24th and 26th of January.

Our newest citizens come from 12 countries including The UK, Chile, Malaysia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Germany, Argentina, Italy, The Netherlands and New Zealand!
