The Shire has announced its 2023-2024 Operating Grants are now open. These grants aim to boost the capacity of local not-for-profit organisations to achieve outcomes that benefit the region’s people, places and environment.
Funding is available across three areas including:• Community Organisation Operating Grants (up to $30,000)*
• Environment and Sustainability Operating Grants (up to $45,000)*
• Sustainable Economy Operating Grants (up to $30,000)*
These grants support not-for-profit organisations who provide long term, strategic services in the Shire to assist with ongoing operational and administrative costs.
Organisations such as Undalup Association, Nature Conservation Margaret River, Margaret River Business Network and the Augusta Community Resource Centre are just some of those who have been successful in securing Operating Grants previously.
Operating Grants allow community organisations to focus on their projects and deliver the outcomes that we need as a community.
Organisations interested in applying should visit Operating Grants to download the guidelines and application forms, and must contact the Shire to discuss their application before submission. Applications for multi-year funding up to three years will be considered.
Applications close at 2pm on Friday 15 September.
