About Kylie
Cr Kylie Kennaugh grew up on a wheat and sheep farm in Beverley and has lived in the Margaret Region for more than 30 years. Together with her partner, Greg Berridge, they operate Berridge Transport and a Charcuterie in Margaret River. She has two adult daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer who run the Charcuterie with her.
Growing up on a farm, Kylie has a passion for agriculture. Her family diversified from wheat and sheep, to deer farming, to a B-class zoo and then to Margaret River Venison. Tourism has also played a major part in her background. Kylie was heavily involved with her family’s business until its sale in mid-2021, when she opened up the Charcuterie.
Responsible for the bookkeeping in both businesses, Kylie has an excellent understanding of small business and the struggles they face and is keen to work with the community to find ways to improve our region’s economy. Kylie volunteered for the Margaret River and Districts Agricultural Society for 17 years and worked in hospitality for 19 years. Passionate about volunteering within our communities Kylie was recently inducted to Rotary where she hopes to raise awareness about the group and the roles they play within our community.
Kylie’s aim on Council is to make the best decisions she can as a ratepayer on behalf of the community.
Kylie was a Shire Councillor between 2013 and 2017 and the Deputy Shire President between 2015 and 2017. Kylie was elected again in October 2019 and her term expires in October 2027
